Hotel Reservation

Please note that all hotel reservations are the responsibility of each individual Congress participant. The Westin Hotel ($129 + taxes) and the Crowne Plaza Chateau Lacombe ($109 + taxes) have provided very reasonable rates and you can register directly by calling the hotel. Please note that rooms for Thursday November 4 are not available at the Westin Hotel, but they have many rooms for November 5, 6 and 7. The Crown Plaza has many rooms available for November 4 – 7. Guests can either stay one night at the Crowne Plaza and transfer to the Westin or stay the entire time at the Crown Plaza. The hotels are 5 minutes walking distance between the two.

2. Ukrainian Bookstore

Edmonton is home to Alberta’s first bookstore opened in this province, and an institution recognized around the world – the Ukrainian Bookstore. Their hours coincide with our Congress activities; however they have consented to staying open specifically for our delegates if you are interested. If you are, please note which day is preferable.

Registration Policies

  • Registration confirmations will be e mailed; mailed only if absolutely necessary (i.e. registrant does not have an email address).
  • Early bird registration ends September 30, 2010. After this date, you must pay full registration.
  • To register, payment must accompany your registration form. No registrations will be finalized without payment.
  • Registrations will not be accepted via telephone.
  • Only individuals who are registered and have a badge may attend conference events. Additional meal tickets may be purchased until November 3, 2010. Meal tickets may be available on site depending on space availability.
  • Please note that Friday morning breakfast, Friday evening dinner and local area tours are not included in the registration fee – these will be on your own.
  • If you have questions regarding Congress registration, please call us at 780 – 414-1624, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST.
  • You must be registered by November 1, 2010, to be included in the Congress roster distributed at the event.

Cancellation Pollicies

  • All registration cancellation requests must be made in writing. No exceptions.
  • Registration cancellation requests received before October 15, 2010 will be eligible for full refunds less a $75 administrative fee.
  • Registration cancellation requests received after October 15, 2010 will not be eligible for refunds.
  • Registrations made after October 15, 2010 are not eligible for a refund if cancelled.
  • Refunds will be processed approximately four to six weeks after the conference.
